The Department of French is one of the oldest departments of this College. It was formed with the vision that the identity of the city Puducherry, is preserved when referred with the French Language. The Department of French at present offers a foundation course in French, as a second language (Part II) to students and thereby exposing them to the French language and civilization. It further aims to develop the essential LSRW skills required to adequately equip the students with better career prospects.
