Sports are in fact a way of life for the students who are conscious of health fitness and those looking for professional status. Physical education is a learning experience that offers a unique opportunity for socialization. A well implemented, comprehensive programme is an essential component to the growth of both mind and body. The Department of Physical Education at Indira Gandhi College of Arts and Science includes activities like Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Cricket, Football, Hockey, Athletics (track and field), Kho Kho, Yoga and Kabaddi.

INTER COLLEGIATE TOURNAMENTS ORGANIZED IN OUR CAMPUS

  • Conducted Pondicherry University Inter Collegiate Volleyball Tournament for Men from 16th to 18th September, 2014
  • Conducted Pondicherry University Inter Collegiate Kho-Kho Tournament for both Men & Women on 29th and 30th September, 2014
