The Department of Hindi at Indira Gandhi College of Arts and Science, aims at introducing foundation course in Hindi to students and thereby exposing them to Hindi language and literature. It further aims to develop skills required to write and communicate in Hindi, acquire knowledge in Hindi grammar, Hindi literature and to inculcate values through ancient poetry and poets in students.
